Greenhouse and Energy Reporting

  • Environmental footprinting
  • Greenhouse & energy reporting
  • Environmental impact minimisation

Climate change is undoubtedly the issue of our time and our actions at both personal and organisational levels will define our generation.

Many companies are making a start by determining their current impact, including measuring their environmental footprint including baseline greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. These actions are particularly prudent given the inevitability of carbon regulation in the near future, be that through carbon taxes or a requirement for offsets from carbon trading schemes.

The accepted methodologies involved are derived from the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the  work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The Australian Federal Goverment has adopted these methodologies for reporting requirements under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 (Cth).

Science Partners can help your organisation make a proactive start in minimising its environmental impact and can help you with statutory reporting responsibilities.
